Henfield wants to hear your views – for and against!
Henfield Community Partnership combined with local traders to campaign against plastic bags in the High Street.
We followed the good example of places like Modbury and Hebden Bridge and encouraged traders to stop providing plastic bags and have environmentally friendly alternatives at an acceptable cost to themselves and customers.

Best thing since sliced Bread!!!!
Oops – is that the next thing to campaign against.
Anyone know how much power used world-wide by bread slicing machines?

Thanks to everyone who helped to make Henfield’s PBF launch on Saturday 3 May so successful. We now would like to see those traders not yet participating withdrawing plastic carrier bags at the point of sale as soon as possible. Shoppers can help with this by bringing their own bags and not asking for plastic bags. Let’s show how much Henfield cares for the environment!
